HOW TO REFILL TONER ON THE Epson C900 / Epson
C1900 Laser Cartridges:
1) Remove blue plastic part by
first unscrewing screw (there is only one)
2) This exposes the cap located as shown in picture below
3) Remove the Fill cap by
inserting the tip of a screw driver and twisting it carefully
4) It is also necessary to reset
the cartridge - described in the instructions
(Please note that refilling is a
practical task requiring some tools & practical skills)
Our 200gm bottle
of black exceeds the print yield of a "High
Capacity" Epson cartridge by about 40% - therefore we recommend that you
refill cartridges when "empty" and in any case it is a good idea to
underfill rather than risk an overfill. There is a moving paddle inside each
cartridge and overfilling can case this to stick - if
it squeals when stuck the toner volume needs to be reduced by
removing toner.
